Real History of Ancient India (Batch 2)

History of Ancient India

Course Description: Is Mahabharata myth or History? Join this course to understand the factual truth. Foreign narratives have plagued Indology or Indian History for a very long. Traditionally, the History of ancient India was studied from the Itihasas and Puranas. However, due to coming under foreign rule, much of India’s History given in these books was deliberately labeled as mythology. Western Indologists of modern times have continued this practice and thus added to the confusion. This has robbed the shastras from their place as valid historical accounts. Factual Indian History, therefore, remains elusive to date.

This course aims to overhaul and set the record straight in regards to the original History of ancient India, with a special focus on the Mahabharata. This course will be extremely useful to both the preachers and practitioners of Sanatana Dharma. The fact is that we need a sound knowledge of Indian History for proving the validity of the Shastric narrative. This course, therefore, will be an eye-opener and will provide the “real history of ancient India” backed up with academic and scientific data. This is basically an attempt to reconcile historical accounts in shastras with modern findings. All data presented, therefore, will be backed up with proper citations.

The presenter, with his in-depth research and analysis, will reveal the facets of Indian History, which you may not have heard, read, or understood before. The participants of this course will well-equipped to attend future courses of the (same) speaker on specific fields like Ethnology, Comparative History, Science in ancient India, Epigraphy, Historical Geography, Puranic Chronology, etc., with each course covering one field in detail.
